Born in Rosaireville, Lisa LeBlanc is a multi-talented artist who has achieved great success since the release of her debut album in 2012. Her unique sound blends folk-trash with bluegrass and Cajun influences, making her music accessible to a wide audience. While her lyrics often explore the challenges of love with a humorous twist, they also contain poignant moments of poetic beauty.

Lisa LeBlanc’s sincerity and way with words elevate everyday experiences into something profound. She has been compared to legendary artists such as Bob Dylan, Dolly Parton, and Quebec singer-songwriter Plume Latraverse. Among her many musical influences, LeBlanc cites Stevie Nicks, Sam Roberts, Feist, and Aerosmith as particularly impactful.

Throughout her career, LeBlanc has sold over 140,000 albums across North America and Europe. She is equally comfortable singing in both English and French, and has won numerous awards throughout Canada. The winner of the 2010 Festival international de la chanson de Granby, LeBlanc first made a name for herself with the popular song “Aujourd’hui, ma vie c’est d’la m—de” (“Today, my life is s—t”), which resonated deeply with many of her fans.

Along with other young Acadian artists like the Hay Babies, Radio, Joseph Edgar, and Les Hôtesses d’Hilaire, Lisa LeBlanc represents a new generation of musicians who bring a fresh perspective to modern life.
