Formerly known locally as “the FREX,” this exhibition and agricultural fair has been pulling into town for more than 180 years. It’s held on the Exhibition Grounds at 361 Smythe Street in Fredericton. This year it has been rebranded the NBEX – The New Brunswick Exhibition.
Young and old alike love the midway. There are gentle rides for the little ones and not-so-gentle rides for those who like big thrills!
The NBEX boasts a couple of “biggest” events – it has the biggest draft-horse show and the biggest agricultural exhibition in the province. There’s also a provincial cattle show, a petting zoo, daily stage shows, handcrafts and home economics judging, and harness racing throughout the week.
