Tim Doiron was born and raised in Fredericton where his passion for the arts first took root. After being accepted into the esteemed Ryerson University in Toronto, he pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre, graduating with distinction. It was during his time at Ryerson that Tim discovered his love for collaboration, working alongside fellow student April Mullen on an inventive dark sketch-comedy clown show. That creative partnership soon flourished, leading to their first feature film, “Rock, Paper, Scissors: The Way of the Tosser”. The film went on to receive international acclaim, earning multiple awards at festivals around the world and establishing Tim Doiron as a bold new voice in independent cinema.
Over the years, Tim Doiron has built an impressive resume across both film and television. His credits include the award-winning “Rock, Paper, Scissors: The Way of the Tosser”, the hidden-camera comedy series “Howie Do It”, the groundbreaking drama “Queer As Folk”, the cult-favorite children’s adventure show “Monster Warriors”, the experimental film “Anamorphosis”, the satirical musical “I Hate Moosicals”, and the action-comedy “The Legend of Clipper Dos Santos”.
Dedicated to pushing creative boundaries, Tim continues to develop innovative projects that blend sharp humour with memorable storytelling. He is working on his next feature comedy, a project that promises to carry forward his unique mix of wit, originality, and passion for performance.
